現代の博物館などに守られている生きた力のある陶芸作品の一部は
当時全く同じものを100個とつくり、
一番「善い」もの以外を全て割ったと聞いたことがあります。
それを知り、すぐに私は「今の現代にはテンポが合ってなく、時代に追いつかない」事と 「色々な素材に手を出してしまっている私には、手間暇掛けたものを壊す根性がない」事で、負けた感覚がありました。
それでふと想いついたのが #ICHIMANCOKYOTO です その「向き合い方」を現代に落とし込み 私の今の精一杯の技術と集中力で、心を込めた一輪挿しを 一万個つくれば それ相当の力になり得るのでは無いか！と言う 無謀にも想える壮大な研究です
1000個なら、出来てしまう事がわかってたので10000個。

”This is my new mission creating one and only vase all of them taken my kind of ‘upmost care’ - all original glaze and the way I paint glaze on them are my ideas of destroying common sense in pottery with respect.
What comes out of me today is knowledge of countless trials and errors throughout my love for pottery.
The amount of work needed to succeed in this project is insane but while we live in a society where ceramic can be bought in less than a dollar, my intentions are to bring back and spread the human sense of acknowledging the power which handmade possesses.
It will take at least ten years minimum to achieve one million.
